Suzanne Ziemba: Marketing & Communications
Suzanne Ziemba
Suzanne grew up in the Chicago area, learning the print trade from her grandfather, father, and older sister. She continually progressed throughout her career, working for high-end print companies and marketing agencies in the Chicago area, as well as being an on-site print liaison for the Taco Bell marketing agency in California. She founded Yelo Creative Group in Salt Lake City in 2005, and focused on creating visibility for businesses through the right combination of branding, marketing and PR. Suzanne currently works for an international novelty company, heading up their art department, developing and maintaining their social media initiatives, and implementing their marketing plans. She has worked with all sizes of businesses from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups and finds true joy in her work.
She currently sits on the boards of the Printing Industries of Utah as well as the Salt Lake Community College Media Technologies Program Advisory and the Granite School District Graphic Communication Business Advisory Board. She was also honored to be one of the 30 Women To Watch by Utah Business Magazine in 2009.
One of Suzanne’s passions is educating others. She has taught graphic arts classes and developed curriculum for the Salt Lake Community College, Triton College (River Grove, IL) and the Printer’s Union School of Illinois. She has given seminars for students, advertising professionals, industry groups, business owners, and printing companies, and is pleased to share her diverse experience with our members.
